Catalog description

This general education course provides an overview of nutrition and food toxicology with particular emphasis on how course topics relate to quality of life. Basic analytical laboratory skills will be applied in quantifying a food-born nutrient or toxicant of particular interest to the student and quantitative expression of laboratory results. Helen Hawk Honor's Course. 150 minutes of laboratory per week. Not acceptable for the major or minor.
