Catalog description

A general education course introducing basic concepts of chemistry to the non-science major using examples from cooking and baking. The course focuses on the use of the processes of cooking to introduce chemical principles. 100 minutes of lecture/discussion and 150 minutes of laboratory per week. Not acceptable for the major or minor.
