Catalog description

This second course in business law expands application of legal principles that affect commercial transactions and further develops the basic framework for analyzing the legal dimensions of business practices and operations. Topics include: employment and labor law issues; consumer law; antitrust law; insurance law; wills and trusts; mortgages; secured transactions; suretyship; debtor-creditor relationships; bankruptcy law; federal securities regulations; criminal law; negotiable instruments; international law; environmental law; computers and the law; and professional liability and accountability.
