Catalog description

The objective of this course is to give students a strong foundation in the concepts of cellular biology. The concepts that will be covered include the fundamental processes of cellular structure and function, cell cycle, intracellular and transmembrane transport mechanisms, intracellular signaling, and cellular communication. Emphasis will also be placed on gene structure, DNA replication, transcription, translation, and regulation of gene expression.
