Catalog description

Explores theoretical foundations and practical approaches to teaching writing at the university and college level. Students will examine pedagogical theories, design writing prompts, and develop strategies for assessment and providing feedback. Assignments include writing teaching philosophies, crafting course materials, facilitating discussion, and reflective writing. By integrating theory and practice, students will gain a deeper understanding of the various facets involved in teaching writing in a postsecondary context.
