Catalog description

Provides doctoral students with the groundwork necessary to undertake ethnographic research on a wide range of theatre and performance contexts, including staged theatre, ritual, and performance in everyday life. Melds theory and practice by incorporating a number of exercises based on original fieldwork students conduct locally during the quarter.
