Catalog description

In this course, we will visit some of Oliver Sacks’ accounts of his patients and their neurological predicaments and learn about neurocircuitry underlying the observed conditions. The goal of this course in neuroscience is to understand some of the principal functions of neural circuits that govern human behavior and perception from the perspective of basic neuroscience research and learn what happens when these principles go awry.
