Catalog description

Explores contemporary cultural production in Portuguese-speaking Africa, examining contemporary films, music and literature. We examine a variety of selected literary, historical and political texts that endorse a multidisciplinary approach to provide a better understanding of post-colonial identities and cultures and their connections with Portugal and Brazil. The language of instruction may vary according to the student's preference (English or Portuguese).
