A survey of the main writers of Portuguese Literature from its beginnings up to the present. Designed to give the student historical, cultural and literary contexts, a chronological panel, in order to prepare the student for more specific and focused courses within the area of Portuguese. Also prepares the student for understanding these contexts in order to apply the knowledge acquired in this survey to other fields of interest. Taught in English.
