Catalog description

The objective of the course is to give students an understanding of the fundamentals of experimental design and analysis of resulting data, with an emphasis on calculating uncertainties in experimental systems, understanding the various means of measuring temperature, strain, etc. including advantages and limitations, and statistical characterization of sample sets for meaningful results.
