Introduction to Regenerative Medicine

Catalog description

A broad introduction to regenerative medicine and cell and gene therapies. Students learn about the diverse career opportunities within the field and the myriad of resources available to them through the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Upperclassmen and faculty will participate as guest speakers to review good study habits and other strategies that students can use to pursue a career in regenerative medicine and succeed. As an interactive seminar series, opportunities to practice networking with other scientists are explored. This class offers a safe space where students challenge themselves to explore new ideas in a supporting environment.
