Catalog description

Specialized topics in sign language linguistics. Topics may include theories and research methods that are specific to sign languages and deaf signing communities, practices of documentation and description of sign languages from grammar to interaction, and research ethics. Students may develop their own new projects, focus on existing projects, or participate in a collaborative project as primary coursework.
