Catalog description

Developing essential data science skills for linguistics and related fields. Data modeling, database design, advanced data formats, and tools for transforming, integrating, and aggregating heterogeneous data. Emphasis on collaboration, practical problem-solving, and reproducible workflows that reflect the practices of modern industry and interdisciplinary research. A goal is for students to be able to design, manage, and analyze structured data in diverse research contexts.
