Introduces students to viewing themselves as active members of an intellectual community. This course introduces students to research processes across the academic disciplines, developing a familiarity with various methodologies. Lectures and TA sections explore the nature of modern research and creative activities with an emphasis on how undergraduates can participate. Students develop a tangible understanding of how to become undergraduate researchers and research assistants. Designed for first-generation college students.
