The Wisdom Beneath Our Feet: Trails, Wellbeing, and the Literature of Place

In this Discovery Seminar, students will hike some of Santa Barbara’s beloved trails in order to experience how, from a psychological perspective, walking and being outdoors can bolster our wellbeing and creativity. Then, students will harness that creativity to write meaningfully about nature, place, and the environment.
