We hear more and more today about open source. Much of the software we use is often open source, but what exactly does it mean? And how can it extend beyond software? The District of Columbia's law is now open and available for modification online. Entire open-source processors are being developed today, too. This seminar will dive into the use and implications of this new open paradigm, both in computer science and far beyond.
