Honors Seminar: Channel Islands Literature: The Lone Woman of San Nicolas

Catalog description

Students will discuss literature related to the Channel Islands, located off the coast of Santa Barbara, and, if conditions permit, visit the Channel Islands as part of a field trip for the course. In Winter 2023, the course will focus on The Lone Woman of San Nicolas, whose story is fictionalized in Scott ODells Island of the Blue Dolphins.
