Catalog description

This interdisciplinary course introduces students to global problems of environmental justice from the point of view of energy infrastructures. The course relies on theories, artworks, and case studies. In discussions, lectures, and screenings, students learn theories, critical methods, and techniques to investigate and study how energy infrastructures interact with ecological systems. Course draws from approaches in Environmental Humanities, Literature, and Film and Media Studies.
