Entering STEM Disciplines - Orienting transfer students for success in the Biological Sciences

Catalog description

Transfer students majoring in the biological sciences will develop successful approaches and orientations to study in STEM disciplines. Students are required to attend regular lectures and discussions; form and participate in study groups; and meet with faculty members and departmental advisors regularly. Assignment(s) will require students to demonstrate that each of these activities has led to a more thorough understanding of requirements for success in the discipline.
