Analysis and Modeling of Movement

Catalog description

Introduces students to the concepts of movement processes and patterns. Students learn about existing methods for analysis, pattern mining, and modeling of movement. Students will develop computational skills to analyze movement data and model a movement phenomenon of their choice. Students must have programming knowledge - either R or Python, as well as some knowledge of spatial data analysis.
