Catalog description

A classic text of the U.S. Women of Color Movement, Bridge foregrounds the theoretical framework of intersectionality by nearly a decade. Co-edited by Moraga and Gloria Anzalda, the collection will serve as the point of departure to examine the key evolving tenets (theory in the flesh) of women of color feminism over four decades. Classes will engage works and presentations by a panorama of poets, playwrights, and critical thinkers. Students will be assigned creative and critical writing responses.
