Catalog description

We will develop a literary approach to climate change by examining varied cli-fi stories, in genres that include post-apocalypse, fantasy, fairy tales, science fiction, and utopia/ solarpunk. Literature is often said to bring imagination to climate change. We will consider the possibilities of imagination, including in terms of escapism, solace, critical thinking, and the invention of worlds with different climates.
