Intermediate Jazz Technique

Catalog description

This course teaches jazz technique focusing on warm-up principles, center practice, performance aesthetic and artistry. Various forms of jazz dance will be explored and contextualized against one another as we examine the historical underpinnings and ever changing style of this versatile and all American form of dance. This course is intended for Intermediate and Advanced dancers.
