Catalog description

Offers an in-depth study of Taiwans nativist literature from select authors and provides a basic introduction to literary criticism and analysis. Examines the motifs and visual expression in the readings and how these texts contributed to the distinct Taiwanese cultural identity. Taught in English, the assigned texts are in traditional Chinese and English translations will be provided.
