This course will address and identify a number of issues in sustainability that are challenging a sustainable world and the potential research and technical opportunities for addressing these. Topics include: Climate Change—causes and effects; Environmental Monitoring; Energy – production and storage; Chemical resources - challenges and solutions; Recycling; Sustainable Materials; Research and Development Opportunities; Intellectual Property and Innovation.
