Critical explorations of aesthetic, narrative, thematic, ideological, cultural and interdisciplinary configurations which frame representations of femininities, masculinities, and sexualities under slavery. The complex dynamics between art and society, issues of identity, difference, agency, resistance, and change, will be explored.
