Intermediate Photography: Photo as Witness

Catalog description

To take this Intermediate studio art course, students need to have successfully completed an intro photo course. Enrolled students must also have consistent access to a Digital Single-Lens Reflex camera (often referred to as DSLR) that has a manual shooting mode (usually denoted by an M). Please note that we will NOT be exploring analog or film based photography. DIGITAL ONLY. In this course, self directed and motivated students explore action based, conceptual, and narrative themes and also the M-Studios digital printers. Students use their individual interests in the fields of science, philosophy, artistic mediums, and pop culture to inform their personal projects and represent their individual core values and fascinations.
