Advanced Spatial Practices: Isla Vista

Catalog description

Open, project-based, learning/research environment designed to encourage student and campus engagement in the Isla Vista community. Weekly gatherings will take place in IV, hosting different campus and community members who will be present, discuss and provide feedback on the range of Isla Vista issues and opportunities. Students taking the course will be required to design outside research projects (individually or collaboratively) to present to the community groups at the end of the quarter.
