Introduces the history, epistemology, perspectives, and methods of the interdisciplinary social sciences. Uses social science disciplines to explore and address select social issues. Using an interdisciplinary lens, examines how these issues are shaped and experienced by gender, race, class, nationality and citizenship, age, and sexual orientation.
