Catalog description

Explores issues of transnational migration, including policies and attitudes surrounding immigrants and refugees in the United States. Provides historical context to current debates over immigration reform, integration, and citizenship. Moves beyond dominant narratives to explore resistance by immigrant and refugee communities throughout the country. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: SOC 490-05. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students with junior or senior status in SOC, CJS, GBST or ETST majors or minors.
