Catalog description

Normal and disordered phases, anatomy and physiology of swallowing. Students will explore assessment techniques for dysphagia and understand how to distinguish problems in the different phases of swallowing. Students will discuss treatment techniques and advantages and disadvantages of each of the treatment techniques. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDSL 692. Prerequisite(s): SLP 691 .
