Neurogenic Cognitive Disorders

Catalog description

Exploration of acquired cognitive-linguistic, communicative and pragmatic disorders in adults. Methods of assessment and intervention will be introduced. Students participate in data collection, interpretation of assessment results, lesson plan designs and oral and written report presentations. Includes current theoretical models of the nature of language breakdown. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDSL 673B. Prerequisite(s): SLP 691 .
