Catalog description

Develops an understanding of the clinical process, including: orientation to clinical terminology, reading files, looking at general disorder areas, understanding the overall communication abilities of clients, positive and negative clinician traits, writing behavioral objectives, teaching and treatment techniques, carryover, data collection, and preparing for first clinical experience. One hour of lecture. Three hours of clinical. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDSL 651. Grading Basis: Credit/No Credit. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in SLP, M.S. program.
