Catalog description

Introduce students to the framework and principles of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), and its use in clinical decision-making. Students will learn to identify and present the best current evidence to support clinical practice. Introduces students to the foundations of scientific reasoning and the various forms of scientific research in the field of communicative sciences and disorders. Students will learn about the principles of underlying quantitative and qualitative research designs. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: EDSL 622.
