Catalog description
Advanced research methods related to the biological processes in the brain underlying behavior in animals and humans, including neuroanatomy, synaptic transmission, neurochemistry, and neuropharmacology. Application of methodological principles to behavioral neuroscience research in such areas as motivation, reward, stress, emotion, addiction, and reproductive/parental behavior. Two hours of lecture. Three hours of laboratory. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100 , PSYC 220 , ( PSYC 230 or PSYC 231 ), and PSYC 360 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
