Catalog description

Covers theories, methods, and research in development from early adolescence through emerging adulthood. Includes biological and physical development; social-emotional development, cognitive development; and social influences on adolescent behavior. Focus on analysis and synthesis of scholarly articles and application of theories and methods to the study of adolescence. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to PSYC majors and minors, and CHAD majors, or consent of instructor. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100 , PSYC 220 , and ( PSYC 230 or PSYC 231 ).
