Catalog description

Communicates the expectations and culture of scientific rigor within the Psychological Science major and introduces potential professional pathways related to the major. Provides a foundation for the major, including critically reading and evaluating empirical research, building scientific writing skills, and applying critical thinking skills based on the scientific method. Examines the various disciplines within psychology and supports students in creating a professional development plan. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: PSYC 440-9 . Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100 .
