Catalog description

An examination of the everyday objects and technologies that surround us. Familiar objects are used as a context for exploring basic physical principles. Among other topics, the course will explore how microwave ovens, cameras, hard drives, and photocopiers work. No previous coursework in science or technology is assumed; intended for science and non-science majors. Satisfies GE area: UD25
