Catalog description
Introduces continuous and discrete-time signals and linear time-invariant systems. Includes continuous and discrete-time Fourier series and transforms, Laplace and Z transforms, filter design, sampling, feedback, and communication systems. Recommended Preparation: MATH 342 or EE 342 . May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: PHYS 403. Cross-listed: PHYS 303 and EE 303 are cross-listed. Students may not receive credit for both. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 280 or EE 280 with a minimum grade of C (2.0). Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): MATH 346 .
