Catalog description

Covers biostatistical methods needed in the design and analysis of biomedical and public health investigations. Includes descriptive statistics and plots, types of data, theoretical distributions, probability, estimation, hypothesis testing, and one-way analysis of variance. Introduces correlation, univariate linear regression, and the use of statistical software. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students admitted to the MPH Program.
