Catalog description

Introduces current issues in health from a social science and behavioral perspective. Defines and explores health determinants using an ecological approach. Identifies multilevel influences, risk factors, and health prevention/promotion strategies. Provides a foundational understanding of public health concepts, tools, approaches and a critical examination of health and disease within populations. Recommended Preparation: PH 101 .
