Teaches data-driven models for use in optimal decision making, using prescriptive analytics techniques like optimization and simulation. Introduces tools such as Python and R to solve real-world problems in fields such as supply chain, finance, and healthcare. Explores uncertainty and risk, guiding students to implement solutions that maximize outcomes under constraints. Provides hands-on experience through case studies and projects, and emphasizes ethical considerations in decision making. Prepares students to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment is restricted to students in the Master of Science in Business Analytics program . Prerequisite(s): OM 620 .
