Introduces sustainable operations and supply chain management as a method to effectively manage material and information within multi-stage production-distribution networks. Explores the production and distribution of goods and services, emphasizing cost reduction, quality enhancement, and sustainability. Illustrates how many companies, driven by intense global competition and enabled by advanced information technology, are undertaking initiatives to cut costs and improve responsiveness. Equips students with the knowledge and tools needed to develop, implement, and maintain strategies for sustainable supply chain management. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Supply Chain Analytics, M.S. program.
