Introduces tools and techniques that create a summary of historical data to generate information and prepare the data for further analysis and gain insight into business applications. Data warehousing, data query, descriptive statistics, data visualization, dashboard design, and descriptive data mining using the software environment R. Note: This is the first course in a series of three, which includes OM 615 and OM 617 . Prerequisite(s): BA 602 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
