Advanced Business Analytics

Catalog description

Introduces advanced business analytics concepts and tools that are used in various business applications. Consists of three distinct parts: descriptive analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Includes visual analytics, dashboard design, data mining for business application, and prescriptive modeling. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: OM 484-4. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students who have completed the lower-division pre-business core requirement (major status in Business Administration, i.e., attained business status). Prerequisite(s): BUS 324 with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
