Provides the Advanced Practice Nurse with the competency necessary to assume leadership roles in a healthcare organization. Emphasis is on applying leadership and change management theories to lead quality management using the evidence-based practice model. Addresses the complexity of healthcare management, and strategies that can be employed to effect practice changes. Identifies leadership elements of Doctor of Nursing Practice project and change management theory. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
