Advanced Field Study: Student Teaching

Catalog description

Practicum designed to provide a practice teaching experience in a program of nursing in a community college or baccalaureate setting. The student will be assigned to a preceptor who is a faculty member in a nursing program teaching didactic and clinical nursing consistent with the student’s area of clinical expertise. The minimum requirement is 90 hours of practice teaching. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing Program. Enrollment Requirement(s): NURS 572 must be taken concurrently.
