Catalog description

Synthesizes knowledge, skills, and values gained from the Doctor of Nursing Practice Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. Prepares Family Nurse Practitioner graduates transitioning into independent clinical practice and the successful completion of a national certification exam. Promotes the ability to master new knowledge, critically think, and develop life-long learning skills across the discipline of nursing. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Prerequisite(s): NURS 566 .
