Catalog description

Students acquire competencies in patient/family assessment, communication, decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration in palliative care for special populations (veterans, homeless, substance abusers). The unique challenges of pain assessment and pain management in special clinical populations are considered. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment is restricted to students who have obtained consent from the department. Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing Program.
