Preparation of the family nurse practitioner to provide care to women in the childbearing years. Overview of theory and research on the assessment and management of women to include concepts of gynecology, family planning, pregnancy and postpartum care, and menopause. Emphasis on health promotion of women throughout the lifespan. Enrollment Restrictions: Enrollment restricted to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing Program.
